Why not have some fun this Halloween and craft up a few apothecary jars? Whether you want to display them in your dining room cupboard or haunted witches’ kitchen, make them as eerie as you want. Mandrake roots resemble human body in form sometimes. This is the reason why people believe them to hold special powers. Pull up the large weed out of the ground, chop off the plant and put the roots into your apothecary jar. How about filling it with love potion instead of roots? Mix red food color in water and add some glitter, tiny confetti hearts and stars and put the solution in the jar.
